Experimentation with Animation
Well, I downloaded Muvizu on Friday, and I had Shakespeare on the brain because I auditioned for the Houston Shakespeare Festival yesterday, so I decided to attempt to animate the prologue of Henry V (which any of you who have read the “intro” page on this site have probably guessed is among my favorite Shakespeare plays). Now, I have to say, I would make all of NONE of these physical acting choices, but at my current skill level with this animation software, this was the best I could do without driving myself crazy nitpicking. Also, this isn’t my best vocal performance of this soliloquy. I chose this recording because the audio was clearest, and it wasn’t as breathy and crackly as the others. My microphone is not good, and even this level of clarity was preferable to that of the others. Working with what I had, I don’t think the result is awful, but I reserve the right to change my mind at any moment. I hope you enjoy it!
Maybe someday I’ll actually be good at this. In the meantime, I’ll settle ^_^. -E.G.D.
Nicely done.
What program did you use, if you don’t mind my asking?
The hat was a nice touch. 🙂
I’m glad you enjoyed it! I used Muvizu, which is free online. Also, I wish I had that hat in real life…
